South Korean crypto exchange Bithumb has announced the listing of Aster (ASTER) on its Korean Won (KRW) market, offering traders fee-free transactions during the launch period. The listing, set to go live at 7:00 p.m. on October 10, 2025, marks a new addition to the exchange’s expanding portfolio of digital assets.

Zero-fee trading window for early participants
Bithumb confirmed that Aster (ASTER) deposits and withdrawals would open within one hour of the announcement, with trading officially commencing at the scheduled time. The base price for ASTER is set at ₩2,395 and operates exclusively on the BNB Smart Chain network.
To encourage participation, Bithumb is waiving trading fees on ASTER from October 10 to October 13 at 10:00 a.m. However, the platform clarified that while fee-free transactions will count toward membership calculations, trading points and maker rewards will not be issued during the promotional period.
To ensure stability at launch, buy orders will be restricted for the first five minutes, and sell orders will be limited to between -10% and +100% of the base price. For the first two hours, only limit orders will be allowed.
Aster: A rebranded decentralized derivatives platform
Aster (ASTER) is the utility token of Aster, a decentralized perpetual futures trading platform formed in late 2024 from the merger of Astherus and APX Finance. The exchange offers both Simple Mode, featuring one-click, MEV-free trades with up to 1001x leverage, and Pro Mode, which enables hidden orders for advanced users.
Aster also issues USDF, a USDT-based stablecoin used to maintain delta-neutral strategies and institutional-grade custody solutions. The ASTER token serves multiple purposes, including governance, fee discounts, and ecosystem rewards.
Bithumb emphasized investor caution, reminding users that cryptocurrencies carry high risks and advising them to review the Aster whitepaper before trading.
Adding to the momentum, Bithumb has listed AMP on its KRW market. Trading for AMP began at 4:00 PM KST on Friday, April 4, 2025, with a base price of 5.091 KRW.
