Global crypto exchange Gate has partnered with Liechtenstein-based Bank Frick to introduce fiat on-ramp and off-ramp services designed for institutional clients across multiple jurisdictions.
Multi-currency fiat access for institutional crypto trading
The collaboration aims to provide streamlined access to major fiat currencies, allowing hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, and other professional traders to move capital between traditional banking systems and digital asset markets more efficiently.
At launch, the service will support multi-currency fiat deposits and withdrawals, enabling institutional users to trade major cryptocurrencies without first converting funds into regional currencies. The companies said the integration is designed to reduce settlement friction and simplify cross-border trading operations, particularly for institutions operating across multiple time zones.

Fiat on-ramps and off-ramps are services that allow users to convert traditional currencies into cryptocurrencies and back again. An on-ramp enables users to buy crypto or stablecoins with fiat money, while an off-ramp allows them to convert their crypto holdings back into fiat and withdraw it to a bank account. These services act as a bridge between traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem, enabling users to move funds between the two systems easily.
Bank frick’s payment infrastructure powers 24/7 settlement
Under the partnership, Gate will leverage Bank Frick’s proprietary xPULSE payment infrastructure, which enables round-the-clock fiat transfers. Unlike traditional banking systems, which are limited by business hours and cut-off times, xPULSE enables near-instant settlement for deposits and withdrawals.
Bank Frick, which has operated for more than 25 years, is known for its focus on regulated blockchain banking, tokenization services, and digital asset infrastructure. The bank has built an ecosystem serving crypto exchanges, market makers, and other financial institutions seeking compliant access to digital asset markets.
Executives from both companies said the collaboration is designed to strengthen fiat-to-crypto rails while maintaining strict regulatory, compliance, and governance standards. By integrating regulated banking infrastructure with crypto trading services, the partnership aims to improve reliability and accessibility for institutional participants in global digital asset markets.
The firms added that further global service expansion plans are expected to be announced as the partnership develops.
Additionally, Gate Group has officially launched Gate Dubai, expanding its regulated cryptocurrency operations in the Middle East through Gate Technology FZE, which holds a Virtual Asset Service Provider license, further strengthening its global footprint.
