Bitget Wallet Adds xStocks Access, Boosting Tokenized Equities Market

Bitget Wallet has expanded deeper into the tokenized real-world assets (RWA) market after integrating xStocks infrastructure, allowing users to access more than 130 tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) directly from its self-custodial wallet.

The move expands Bitget Wallet’s tokenized asset lineup to over 300 products, covering equities, commodities, precious metals and index-linked assets. The integration gives the platform’s reported 90 million users broader exposure to traditional financial assets through blockchain rails.

Bitget pushes tokenized equities through self-custody model

The company said its tokenized equity products have generated more than $30 billion in transaction volume since their launch in 2025. Tokenized stock products remain unavailable in the United States, United Kingdom and other restricted regions due to regulatory limits.

Bitget Wallet said users will be able to trade tokenized stocks and ETFs from the same interface used for crypto trading, swaps and asset storage, while maintaining control of their private keys and funds.

The platform supports both request-for-quote (RFQ) and automated market maker (AMM) liquidity models. It also offers zero trading fees and gasless execution for tokenized asset transactions.

xStocks is now operated by Payward, the parent company of Kraken, after acquiring the tokenized equities platform through its purchase of Backed Finance in late 2025.

The integration reflects growing demand for blockchain-based exposure to traditional financial products as crypto firms continue expanding beyond digital assets.

Competition intensifies across tokenized equities Market

Competition in tokenized equities is accelerating as major crypto platforms launch stock-linked products.

Coinbase introduced stock perpetual futures for international users earlier this year, providing round-the-clock leveraged exposure to US-listed equities. Kraken has also expanded xStocks offerings with bundled crypto-equity products and tokenized equity perpetual futures outside the US.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is preparing a new framework that could allow trading of tokenized or digital versions of traditional stocks on crypto platforms

Tokenized equities market nears $1.5 Billion as RWA sector grows

Data from RWA.xyz shows the tokenized equities market has climbed to nearly $1.5 billion, driven by products linked to firms such as Circle, Nvidia, Tesla, Alphabet and Strategy.

Ondo currently leads the sector with roughly $883 million in represented asset value, while xStocks follows with about $391.5 million. Tokenized products linked to Strategy, Tesla, Nvidia and the S&P 500 index remain among the largest assets in the market, highlighting rising investor interest in bringing traditional equities onchain.
