Beepo App, a decentralized social networking platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Concordium. The Concordium Blockchain’s native token, CCD, will be incorporated as a payment method on the platform.
According to a report, Concordium and Beepo were both created with the goal of ushering in a new era of trust in Web3. They both share concerns about how social media platforms handle their users’ private and personal data.
The partnership between the two firms is a crucial attempt to create the trustworthy, safe, and stable social economy of the future at a time when Web2 social platforms are experiencing widespread turbulence, with concerns about their long-term viability.
Beepo and Concordium intend to allow users to disclose only the personal information they are willing to share.
Concordium is the only science-based blockchain with an integrated self-sovereign ID, enabling greater self-government than ever before.
In the first stage of their partnership, Beepo will integrate Concordium’s native token, CCD, with other ID-based functionality to follow.
Michael Jimoh, Beepo’s CEO and Founder, stated:
“Concordium’s integration into the Beepo App and Ecosystem aligns with our ecosystem’s guiding principles because it places an emphasis on low-cost transactions, quick processing, security, privacy, decentralization, and simplicity. The Concordium blockchain would be available for use and transaction execution by members of our ecosystem, and the Beepo App would leverage DID Technology to establish trustworthiness amongst users.”
According to the report, on December 20, 2022, Beepo will begin a private beta testing period. Following that, the Beepo app will be available for public download on the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android.
