Bithumb Expands KRW Market with Listings for XYO, PUMP

Bithumb is expanding its Korean Won (KRW) trading market with new token listings, signalling continued growth in its digital asset offerings.

The exchange has confirmed that XYO will be listed later today, with trading set to commence at 5:00 PM KST. The listing price is 15.30 KRW (approximately $0.0107), and deposits and withdrawals will be enabled two hours after the listing, exclusively via the Ethereum network.

Following closely, Bithumb will also launch trading for PUMP, the utility token of Bitcoin liquidity re-staking platform PumpBTC, at 6:00 PM KST on April 22, 2025. The token will debut with a base price of 249 KRW, and all transactions will be supported exclusively on the BNB Smart Chain. Deposits will require 15 confirmations, and users are strongly advised to avoid unsupported networks to prevent processing delays or asset loss.

To mark the PUMP listing, Bithumb has introduced a two-day airdrop for users who trade it consecutively. The PUMP token is integral to the PumpBTC ecosystem, utilizing the Babylon protocol for Bitcoin restaking and issuing a liquid restaking token (LRT). This allows Bitcoin holders to earn yields through DeFi activities while PUMP tokens provide governance and rewards. To ensure a secure trading environment, Bithumb has implemented measures such as five-minute restrictions on trading and limits on price fluctuations. They remind investors of the inherent risks of virtual assets and encourage a thorough review of project details before trading. Temporary restrictions on deposits and withdrawals may apply to new users as part of compliance measures.

Adding to the momentum, Bithumb recently announced the upcoming listing of AMP on its KRW market. Trading for AMP will begin at 4:00 PM KST on Friday, April 4, 2025, with a base price of 5.091 KRW. This announcement follows the earlier launch of Bubble Maps (BMT), which debuted on March 18, 2025, at a listing price of 211 KRW.
