Bitget has secured a significant sponsorship deal with professional driver Flávio Sampaio for the 2025 Porsche Cup Brasil, marking the first time a cryptocurrency exchange will be featured as a sponsor in the prestigious racing series.
According to a March 26 blog post, the partnership will see Bitget’s branding prominently displayed on Sampaio’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, which will sport the exchange’s signature black and cyan blue colours. The Porsche Cup Brasil, recognized as Latin America’s premier Grand Touring competition, is set to begin its 2025 season in April.

Flávio Sampaio welcomed the sponsorship, emphasizing the potential synergy between motorsports and the crypto industry.“The profile of sports fans often has similarities with that of crypto investors. I believe we can create an interesting connection between these two worlds.” he stated.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen echoed this sentiment, highlighting the strategic value of the partnership. “Aligning with a motorsport professional for a series known for it’s precision and competitiveness allows us to engage with an audience that values both technological advancement and calculated risk-taking,” she explained.
The sponsorship comes at a time when Bitget’s native token, BGB, has seen a notable price surge. Over the past 24 hours, BGB has risen by more than 2%, reaching $5.09, while its weekly performance reflects an 8.14% gain. Trading volume has also climbed by 34.4% to nearly $148 million, indicating increased market activity, according to CoinMarketCap.
Given the country’s growing interest in cryptocurrency, Brazil remains a key market for Bitget. A recent report from Chainalysis ranked Brazil as the second-largest Latin American nation by crypto transaction volume, trailing only Argentina.
In line with this trend, Bitget’s expansion efforts were further reinforced as the exchange secured regulatory approval to offer crypto services in Bulgaria. Bitget announced receiving a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Bulgaria’s National Revenue Agency, marking another milestone in its European growth strategy.
