Sui has experienced a 10% market cap rebound in the past 24 hours, distinguishing itself in a stagnant market.
Designed to offer Web3 advantages with Web2 simplicity, Sui is gaining traction in the DeFi and gaming sectors due to its fast and low-cost transactions, according to the on-chain analytics platform Santiment,
This renewed momentum comes as Sui secures fresh partnerships and expands staking rewards, keeping users engaged. At the same time, social sentiment on platforms like X, Reddit, and Telegram has turned highly bullish, marking the most optimistic outlook since mid-September.
According to DefiLlama data, the market capitalization of stablecoins on the Sui platform has reached an all-time high of $500 million. This increase in stablecoin inflows indicates that new liquidity is entering the ecosystem, demonstrating a rise in investor interest and heightened activity on the platform.
Further reinforcing market confidence, Coinglass reports that Sui’s funding rate has turned positive for the first time in over a week, indicating a shift in trader sentiment. Meanwhile, the total value of open interest contracts has climbed to $451.3 million, suggesting that traders are becoming more optimistic about Sui’s price trajectory.
While this latest rebound is relatively small compared to Sui’s impressive 259% rally over the past five months, it fuels renewed optimism in the market. However, Santiment warned that excessive retail FOMO could lead to an overheated market, potentially delaying the sustainable growth long-term investors are anticipating.
Notably, On February 10, cryptocurrency investment products recorded inflows of $1.3 billion for the week and $7.3 billion year-to-date, according to CoinShares. Ethereum led with $793 million in inflows, followed by Bitcoin with $407 million. XRP and Solana attracted $21 million and $11 million, respectively. The U.S. accounted for $1 billion of the inflows, while total assets under management in exchange-traded products dropped to $163 billion from $181 billion in January. Blockchain equities saw yearly inflows of $194 million.
