KuCoin’s native token, $KCS, is set to be listed on the Hong Kong-based crypto trading platform HashKey Global.
According to a press release by the exchange, trading will commence on February 14, 2025, at 08:00 UTC, with deposits and withdrawals opening on February 12 at the same time.
The KuCoin team stated that the listing will enhance KCS’s accessibility, liquidity, and utility. They stated that the move is part of the exchange’s global expansion strategy, and it reinforces its commitment to user engagement and strengthening its presence in the digital asset market.
KuCoin expects the listing to benefit both KuCoin and HashKey users, increasing investment opportunities and boosting KCS’s market exposure. This move aligns with KuCoin’s long-term goal of bridging users to the future of finance through secure and reliable trading platforms.
The move follows other moves by the exchange to expand its offerings.
KuCoin recently launched “KuCoin Pay,” a new feature enabling merchants to accept direct crypto payments from customers’ exchange accounts.
The new service supports over 54 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), USDT, and USDC, and facilitates fast, low-fee transactions and borderless payments. Customers can complete transactions by scanning a QR code or using the KuCoin app.
Meanwhile, KCS’s listing on HashKey Global follows other high-profile cryptocurrencies that have been listed on the platform recently. Notably, Tether’s USDT was listed on January 27, 2025, and in November 2024, the HashKey Platform Token (HSK), the native token of the HashKey Chain blockchain project, was added to the exchange’s offerings.
According to Coingecko, there are 99 coins and 99 trading pairs available on the exchange. HashKey Global’s 24-hour volume is reported to be at $4,789,595.41, a change of 6.88% in the last 24 hours.
