Gate Futures has officially launched USDT-margined perpetual contracts tied to three US-listed equities: Blackstone (BX), Credo Technology Group (CRDO), and AXT Inc. (AXTI). The contracts support long and short positions with leverage ranging from 1x to 20x, allowing traders to gain synthetic exposure to traditional equities directly within a crypto derivatives environment.
BX represents a major alternative asset manager with exposure across private equity and credit markets, while CRDO and AXTI are positioned within the AI hardware and semiconductor supply chain. The launch reflects a continued expansion of crypto exchanges beyond digital assets into tokenized representations of traditional financial instruments.

More demand for AI and chip-related exposure
The inclusion of CRDO and AXTI shows strong market interest in AI infrastructure and semiconductor supply chains. CRDO supplies high-speed interconnect solutions used in large-scale AI clusters, while AXTI produces compound semiconductor substrates important for optical modules and high-performance computing systems.
These assets are increasingly viewed as leveraged proxies for AI growth, attracting speculative and institutional attention. By offering perpetual futures on these equities, Gate enables traders to access AI-driven market narratives with built-in leverage and shorting capability, effectively merging equity volatility with crypto derivatives trading mechanics.
Tokenized stocks and rising exchange competition
Crypto platforms are now offering exposure to traditional stocks through synthetic derivatives.
This raises a common question of what stock perpetual contracts are and how they are different from owning real shares for investors. Unlike regular stock trading, these products do not give ownership or voting rights. Instead, they track stock prices using derivatives.
Other exchanges have also tested similar products, showing growing competition between crypto platforms and traditional trading venues. As tokenized stock markets grow, analysts are watching whether this brings more liquidity or adds new layers of leverage-driven volatility across both crypto and equity markets.
Notably, Gate upgraded its prediction markets product, adding new tools aimed at faster event discovery, more trading options, and deeper integration with third-party markets like Polymarket.
