Zonda, a popular cryptocurrency exchange in Eastern and Central Europe, has announced its rebranding as Zondacrypto to highlight its strategic shift towards becoming the premier digital asset exchange in the European Union.
According to the company, the decision to rebrand as Zondacrypto was driven by the evolving landscape of digital finance and the evolving needs of users. The new brand signifies the convergence of Web2 and Web3 technologies and underscores Zonda’s ongoing mission of bridging traditional finance and blockchain.
Zondacrypto aims to provide a secure, regulated, and educational crypto platform, empowering individuals through the fusion of Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 technologies.
As part of its rebranding, Zondacrypto is also introducing the Zondacrypto token (ZND). This token will offer users various benefits, including lower trading fees, staking opportunities, exclusive access to new projects, and participation in governance decisions.
Zondacrypto also launched a trading competition on its platform, running from May 12 to May 29, to celebrate the rebranding. Participants can win up to €2,000 in prize money, with the winnings split equally between cash and ZND tokens.
Przemyslaw Kral, the CEO of Zondacrypto, noted that significant changes have occurred in the cryptocurrency industry over the past year, and entering this new era warranted a new name that reflects their commitment to the industry, innovation, and their customers.
Karl added that they are confident that this rebranding will enhance their ability to pursue their mission of fostering positive change and a promising future for their customers and stakeholders.
Meanwhile, in a move to expand its reach, Zonda Crypto Exchange opened a new office in Copenhagen, Denmark, in September 2022. This expansion strengthened the company’s ambition to establish itself as a major crypto platform in Northern Europe while building on its success in the eastern and central regions.
