Binance will remove six cryptocurrencies from spot trading later this month after completing its latest review of listed assets, affecting trading, futures, lending and several other platform services.
The exchange said Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX, Vulcan Forged (PYR), Vanar (VANRY) and Viction (VIC) will be delisted from spot trading on August 17 at 03:00 UTC. All spot trading pairs for the six tokens will close at that time, while any open spot orders will be cancelled automatically.

Binance said the decision followed its regular asset review process, which considers factors including liquidity, development activity, network security, team commitment, transparency, tokenomics and regulatory developments. The exchange did not provide separate reasons for removing each token.
What happens before the August 17 delisting
The spot removal is the final step in the schedule that begins on August 4. Margin borrowing for the affected assets will be suspended from 06:00 UTC that day.
On August 7, Binance Futures will stop allowing new positions at 08:30 UTC before automatically settling and closing remaining contracts at 09:00 UTC. The exchange said it may adjust leverage, funding rates, margin tiers or index components before settlement if market conditions become highly volatile.
The same day, Binance Pay and Binance Pool will stop supporting the six assets, while VIP Loan, Flexible Loan and margin positions will also be settled according to separate deadlines. Spot Copy Trading will remove affected pairs on August 10, and Simple Earn products will automatically redeem users’ holdings and transfer both assets and rewards to spot wallets.
Some of the tokens were already under closer review
Four of the six assets had already been placed under Binance’s Monitoring Tag system before the delisting announcement. PIVX received the tag in June, followed by PYR and VANRY in early July, while ACX was added later that month.
Monitoring Tags indicate assets considered to carry higher risk or volatility. Users holding tagged tokens must complete a risk awareness quiz every 90 days to continue trading them. Although the designation does not guarantee delisting, it signals that Binance is conducting closer reviews of the projects.
ACX also faced pressure outside Binance after Coinbase suspended trading of the token in July, citing the project’s planned wind-down. The Across team later proposed replacing its token-based DAO with a U.S. C-corporation alongside a USDC buyout plan, although the proposal noted that legal restrictions and timelines could still change.
What should VANRY holders and users do next?
Unlike the other delisted assets, VANRY holders face an additional step. Binance confirmed it will not support Vanar’s planned 1:1 token migration to Base, meaning users must complete the swap themselves through the project’s official migration portal.
The exchange will continue supporting VANRY withdrawals on Ethereum and Polygon PoS, allowing users to move their tokens before completing the migration independently. Vanar has advised holders to use only official links and avoid sharing wallet seed phrases during the process.
Binance Convert will stop supporting the six assets on August 17, one hour before spot trading ends, while the low-value asset conversion feature will be removed on August 14. Deposits made after August 18 will not be credited.
Withdrawals will remain available until October 17. Binance said it may convert any remaining balances into stablecoins after October 18, but stressed that such a conversion is not guaranteed and will only take place if a separate notice is issued.
