Centrifuge has entered a strategic partnership with IOSG Ventures, one of Asia’s leading crypto investment firms, as both companies look to expand the adoption of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) across the region.
The partnership brings together Centrifuge’s tokenization infrastructure and fund management technology with IOSG’s network of institutional investors, family offices, and digital asset firms. The move comes as interest in blockchain-based financial products continues to gain momentum among traditional financial institutions in Asia.

Rising demand for tokenized assets in Asia
Institutional interest in tokenized assets has increased significantly across Asia over the past year, driven by growing regulatory clarity and the search for new investment opportunities.
Markets such as Hong Kong have continued to advance frameworks for tokenized financial products, while financial institutions in Japan and South Korea are increasingly exploring blockchain-based investment solutions. At the same time, family offices and licensed investment platforms are looking for trusted infrastructure providers to support their entry into the sector.
Centrifuge CEO Bhaji Illuminati said Asia remains one of the fastest-growing markets for tokenized assets, highlighting the opportunity to connect institutional issuers, investors, and onchain markets as adoption expands.
Can combining technology and local networks unlock new opportunities?
Under the partnership, Centrifuge will provide its institutional-grade technology for launching and managing tokenized investment products, while IOSG will contribute its regional expertise, regulatory relationships, and distribution network.
The companies plan to work with banks, asset managers, and licensed financial institutions to explore ways to bring funds and other real-world assets onchain. They also aim to increase access to tokenized investment products across key Asian markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.
The initiative will include institutional roundtables, regulatory discussions, exchange partnerships, and efforts to add Centrifuge’s tokenized products into platforms connected to IOSG’s portfolio and network.
Centrifudge and IOSG partnership evolve to push tokenization
The strategic alliance builds on a relationship that dates back to 2021, when IOSG first invested in Centrifuge during the early stages of the real-world asset tokenization market.
IOSG later participated in Centrifuge’s $15 million funding round in 2024, supporting the expansion of the company’s fund management platform and onchain asset infrastructure. The investment firm has also increased its exposure to Centrifuge through additional open-market purchases.
In late 2025, Centrifuge launched its “Liquidity Rewards” program, which successfully attracted over $500 million in Total Value Locked (TVL). Additionally, the project recently integrated with Layer 1 networks like Ethereum ($ETH) and Solana ($SOL) to enhance cross-chain interoperability for its tokenized asset pools.
The firms believe the growing convergence of traditional finance and blockchain technology will drive further demand for trusted infrastructure capable of connecting conventional financial markets with onchain investment ecosystems.
