KuCoin has announced that its payment solution, KuCoin Pay, is now integrated with Zypto, a decentralized finance focused payments application aimed at increasing real-world utility for digital assets. The partnership is designed to connect cryptocurrency holdings with everyday financial services, allowing users to move beyond trading and into direct spending.
The integration enables KuCoin Pay users to access Zypto’s in-app services using their existing crypto balances. Supported services include Zypto Visa card top-ups, gift card purchases, bill payments, and mobile airtime top-ups. Additional payment features are expected to be added over time as Zypto expands its ecosystem.

KuCoin Pay currently supports more than 50 cryptocurrencies, including BTC, USDT, USDC, and KCS, positioning it as a multi-asset payment gateway for retail and merchant transactions. By embedding KuCoin Pay into Zypto’s infrastructure, both companies aim to reduce friction between holding digital assets and using them for daily expenses.
Bridging trading and everyday utility
The collaboration reflects a broader industry push to strengthen crypto payments infrastructure amid increasing demand for practical use cases. While exchanges have historically focused on spot and derivatives trading, payment integrations are emerging as a strategic growth area.
Joe Parkin, Co-founder of Zypto, said the integration gives users access to practical services that can be used in daily life, reinforcing the original monetary purpose of cryptocurrencies. Alicia Kao, Managing Director of KuCoin, noted that KuCoin Pay is focused on embedding crypto into everyday financial activity, with Zypto providing a complementary spending layer.
Expanding the crypto payments ecosystem
The partnership signals a shift toward building more cohesive user journeys within the digital asset economy. Instead of transferring funds across multiple platforms, users can now move directly from exchange balances to consumer payments within a unified flow.
In a separate development, KuCoin Pay has also partnered with Ceylon Cash, a Sri Lanka-based Web3 and blockchain ecosystem builder. The collaboration will integrate KuCoin Pay into Ceylon Cash’s CeyPay product, enabling users and merchants in Sri Lanka to transact seamlessly.
