Enterprise RPC Infrastructure for Stablecoin Payments
The Smart Router, built on Lava’s RPC (Remote Procedure Call) engine, introduces an end-to-end solution designed to strengthen blockchain connectivity. By providing enterprises with a unified access layer, the engine enables mission-critical uptime, performance-based routing, built-in failover, and compliance-ready audit trails.
Fireblocks, which processes $200 billion in monthly stablecoin transactions — accounting for 15% of global volume — will integrate the Smart Router to ensure stability and resilience across its infrastructure. The move comes as stablecoins increasingly underpin tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), an area that has grown 380% in the last three years
According to Fireblocks’ State of Stablecoins 2025 report, 41% of decision-makers rank speed and reliability as top priorities when adopting stablecoin infrastructure. With corporations like Walmart, Amazon, and Google exploring USD-backed stablecoins to cut costs and expedite settlements, Lava’s system positions itself as a backbone for large-scale adoption.
Meeting Institutional Demand for Reliability and Compliance
Executives from both companies highlighted the institutional significance of the collaboration. Yair Cleper, co-founder of Magma Dev and contributor to Lava Network, said the RPC framework provides “resilient and regulation-ready infrastructure” for stablecoins as they emerge as a new global transaction standard.
Pavel Berengoltz, Fireblocks’ co-founder and CTO, noted that integrating Lava’s Smart Router aligns with the company’s mission to deliver a secure and scalable settlement network for its clients across banking, payments, and custodial services.
As stablecoins become central to digital finance, Lava Network’s enterprise RPC solution aims to standardize blockchain access, eliminate bottlenecks, and accelerate adoption across institutional markets.
The launch follows Fireblocks’ recent partnership with Circle, combining Circle’s USDC network with Fireblocks’ custody, tokenization, and payment rails. Together, the companies are positioning stablecoins as programmable money at the core of global finance.
