KuCoin Pay, the official payment platform of global cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin, has announced a strategic partnership with Cryptorefills, a leading provider of crypto-enabled travel and lifestyle services.
The collaboration enables KuCoin’s more than 41 million users to spend cryptocurrencies on a range of everyday purchases, including flights, hotels, gift cards, and mobile top-ups, either through the KuCoin app or directly on the Cryptorefills website.
As a result of the integration, users can now conduct transactions using over 50 supported cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and KuCoin Token (KCS). Cryptorefills’ full suite of offerings—which spans bookings with over 300 airlines and accommodations at more than one million hotels globally—is now accessible within KuCoin’s ecosystem. Additionally, users gain access to over 4,000 branded gift cards and mobile services through 140 carriers and eSIM providers worldwide.

To further enhance user experience, the partnership introduces seamless payment functionality. KuCoin Pay is now available as a direct checkout option on the Cryptorefills platform, allowing users to scan a QR code and make purchases directly from their KuCoin balance within the app. This integration streamlines crypto payments, aligning Web3 usability with familiar online shopping experiences.
According to Nicholas Kunz, Business Development Manager at KuCoin, the initiative bridges the gap between crypto ownership and practical, everyday use, particularly in the travel sector. He noted that since both crypto and travel are inherently borderless, the partnership is a natural step toward mainstream adoption.
Reinforcing this momentum, Cryptorefills is now prominently featured on the KuCoin Pay homepage, aligning with KuCoin’s broader ambition to expand real-world use cases for digital assets. This move supports the company’s mission to build a global crypto commerce ecosystem.
In a related development, KuCoin has officially launched KuCoin Thailand, a fully licensed digital asset exchange regulated by Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This marks the company’s first locally regulated platform in Southeast Asia, underscoring its strategic expansion into one of the region’s most active cryptocurrency markets.
