Liquidity absorption holds price steady

Data from Binance indicates that the Vol Delta reached –$59.6 million, meaning sell orders exceeded buy orders by this amount over the measured period. Despite this substantial figure, the Bitcoin price remained largely stable, demonstrating that the order book effectively absorbed the selling activity.

Market metrics confirm that the imbalance between supply and demand remains minimal. The PCT value, which measures order-flow imbalance, sits at –0.205%, indicating that selling pressure is controlled and does not create an accelerated decline. Analysts note that these readings suggest a normal rebalancing phase rather than a market panic, highlighting the resilience of Bitcoin’s liquidity.

Statistical analysis points to short-term selling

From a statistical standpoint, the 24-hour Vol Delta Z-score is approximately 1.72. While this shows a negative volume delta above the 24-hour average, it still falls within a historically normal range. Such a metric indicates tactical or short-term selling rather than a broader market sell-off or forced liquidation.

Overall, the combination of elevated selling liquidity, minimal order-flow imbalance, and moderate statistical deviation reflects a controlled rebalancing phase for Bitcoin. Traders are interpreting this period as a temporary slowdown in momentum rather than the start of a structural decline. Market observers suggest that these conditions provide an opportunity for the market to stabilize, as long as liquidity remains robust and selling pressure does not escalate.

Investors are advised to monitor liquidity metrics and order book depth closely, as these factors continue to play a key role in maintaining price stability amid short-term market fluctuations.

Meanwhile, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju highlighted sustained institutional Bitcoin accumulation, with wallets holding 100 to 1,000 BTC excluding exchanges and miners adding 577,000 BTC over the past 12 months.
