A popular investment platform in Brazil has decided to offer its users access to the crypto investment world by launching its crypto app, Mynt.
With this platform, clients of BTG Pactual can seamlessly invest in cryptos of their choice without having to jump through hoops. They can decide on what crypto they want to buy. At the moment, the app only offers BTC and ETH, but this may change as time goes on, as BTG Pactual will add more crypto assets.
This is one of the banks to recently accept the development of cryptocurrencies and create a safe haven for their clients to buy them.
The head of digital assets in BTG Pactual, Andre Porthilo, stated that,
“At this first moment, we will have the two main assets of the market, but we will include other cryptos for trading over time,” André Portilho, head of Digital Assets at BTG Pactual, said in a statement. “We will have a complete platform with blockchain-based assets.”
The Mynt app doesn’t only offer digital assets, it also has an educational hub for people to learn more about blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
This is not the first time the investment bank is dabbling into the crypto world, as its voyage started in 2017. Two years later, it released a security token called ReitBZ. In the second quarter of 2021, the institution also announced its Bitcoin Fund.
