Yield App has partnered with Volt, a leading global real-time payments gateway, to enhance customer convenience and provide a seamless experience for users when accessing a wide range of products.
The collaboration enables Yield App users to buy cryptocurrency directly from their bank accounts in real-time. The integration of both companies’ services streamlines the process into a simple two-step procedure, where customers can authorize transactions using face ID or biometric authentication through their banking app.
Yield App will also leverage Volt’s open banking infrastructure to offer improved on-ramps for the British pound sterling (GBP) and Euro (EUR) using Faster Payment Service (FPS) and Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).
Gero Piskov, the Card and Payments Manager at Yield App, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Volt because both companies advocate for cutting-edge payment technologies. Piskov also emphasized the importance of adopting open banking solutions to prevent the exclusion of retail crypto investors. In Piskov’s words:
“By integrating additional payment options on Yield App, our customers can unlock the full potential of their digital assets.”
Kat Marangos, Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Volt, stated that buying cryptocurrency is a perfect use case of how open banking can be utilized. She emphasized that open banking provides a safer and more convenient alternative to using cards or manual transfers.
Marangos further explained that Volt’s collaboration with Yield App would demonstrate this concept, allowing users to experience enhanced returns from their crypto assets. The Vice President expressed enthusiasm about introducing this opportunity to a fresh cohort of retail investors.
Meanwhile, on January 26, 2023, Yield App acquired Trofi Group, a renowned platform that provides structured product solutions for cryptocurrencies. This strategic move expanded Yield App’s product suite by incorporating four additional structured product strategies. These new offerings empower investors to capitalize on potential gains in various market scenarios.
