Glider, a new crypto platform, is making it easier for investors to manage on-chain assets. Unlike traditional wallets or exchanges, which are mainly built for trading, Glider focuses on long-term investing. The platform allows users to buy, hold, and automate portfolios directly from their own smart wallets.

Solving the on-chain investing problem
On-chain assets provide investors with direct ownership of their crypto assets, yield, staking, or voting rights, and are accessible 24/7. However, investors have struggled to manage these assets. They had to manage multiple wallets, monitor yields on different protocols, and even spend gas to keep their portfolios in balance. Glider resolves all these issues. Investors can choose a portfolio, such as a combination of Bitcoin and Ethereum, a DeFi index, or a customized portfolio, and the system will automatically rebalance it based on price changes.
Each portfolio is non-custodial, meaning that the assets are entirely under the control of the investor. Unlike vaults or pooled funds, there is no third party, no pooling of funds, and no surprise fees. The investor maintains ownership of the assets, and Glider provides the automated logic for the portfolio in the background.
Automation designed for the future
The Glider system is designed to handle complex operations such as routing between chains, rebalancing, and yield strategy management. The user simply needs to set their strategy, and the system will take care of it. Whether it’s moving money from a lending protocol on Base to a stablecoin earning yield on Arbitrum, Glider makes sure that portfolios are managed automatically without needing constant monitoring.
The service is built for the on-chain ecosystem, which has expanded to include tokenized stocks, fixed income, and other financial assets. Through Glider, investors will have an on-chain investment account that provides the flexibility of crypto with the framework of a traditional investing service.
The mission of Glider is very clear: to make on-chain investing simple, automated, and secure, providing users with the ability to grow their wealth over time.
In another on-chain development, Lighter launched the world’s first perpetual futures contracts for South Korean blue-chip stocks, including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Hyundai Motor.
