Binance Futures has introduced three new USD-margined perpetual contracts: COOKIEUSDT, ALCHUSDT, and SWARMSUSDT.
These contracts provide traders with leverage of up to 75x, targeting those interested in high-risk, high-reward opportunities in the cryptocurrency market. The launch schedule follows: COOKIEUSDT will go live at 11:30 UTC, followed by ALCHUSDT 15 minutes later, and SWARMSUSDT at 12:15 UTC.
The contracts are associated with projects under Cookie DAO (COOKIE), Alchemist AI (ALCH), and Swarms (SWARMS), all of which are already listed on Binance’s Alpha Market. These contracts will be settled in Tether (USDT) and available for trading around the clock, 24/7. Additionally, Binance has activated the Multi-Asset Mode for these contracts, allowing traders to use alternative assets like Bitcoin (BTC) as margin, which offers greater flexibility.
The funding rates for these contracts can vary by a maximum of ±2.00% and are settled every four hours. The minimum price movement increments are set at 0.0001 for COOKIE and SWARMS, while for ALCH, the increment is 0.00001. Binance may adjust these parameters based on market conditions to manage risks effectively.
Binance has clarified that launching these perpetual contracts does not guarantee the tokens’ inclusion on its spot market. For transparency, Binance has provided verified contract addresses: COOKIE (0xc0041ef357b183448b235a8ea73ce4e4ec8c265f), ALCH (HNg5PYJmtqcmzXrv6S9zP1CDKk5BgDuyFBxbvNApump), and SWARM (74SBV4zDXxTRgv1pEMoECskKBkZHc2yGPnc7GYVepump).
The exchange has also warned that perpetual contracts are high-risk instruments and advised traders to carefully review Binance’s Terms of Use and Futures Service Agreement before engaging. These products suit traders speculating on price movements without holding the underlying assets.
Similarly, Binance added USDT perpetual contracts for the native tokens of Aerodome Finance (AERO) and Layer 1 blockchain platform Kaia (KAIA) to its Futures trading platform on December 4, 2024. The KAIAUSDT contract went live at 14:00 UTC, followed by the AEROUSDT contract at 14:15 UTC. Both contracts provide up to 75x leverage and support Binance Futures’ multi-assets mode.
