A subscription event for Bitget Wallet’s official native token, BWB, will begin on May 23, 2024, the crypto exchange announced in a blog post earlier today, May 20.
The token’s subscription event will consist of two rounds: an allowlist round and a public round, each with different eligibility criteria for participation.
Bitget Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that supports over 100 mainstream public chains and 250,000 tokens. According to the exchange, the service has grown significantly since its inception in 2018, boasting 20 million users globally.
In addition to its trading and staking services, Bitget offers a wide range of services within its ecosystem. This includes various staking pools through its PoolX platform, where users can earn rewards by staking different cryptocurrencies.
The introduction of the BWB token aims to integrate users further into its ecosystem and give them a share in its growth benefits. Notably, the exchange announced the introduction of the token alongside an airdrop event to reward its users on March 18, 2024.
Meanwhile, Bitget has also announced the upcoming listing of NYAN, the native token of the NYAN Heroes game project, in its Innovation and GameFi Zone.
Nyan Heroes has been highly anticipated in the cryptocurrency space. This competitive shooter game features cats piloting mechs and has been developed over two years on the Solana blockchain. It has received significant attention and praise for its refined gameplay, making it one of the most eagerly awaited pre-launch games in the Web3 space.
The development team behind Nyan Heroes includes creators with experience in renowned titles such as Halo, Destiny, Assassin’s Creed, and Mass Effect. The project is backed by several venture capital firms, including Mechanism, Delphi, Manifold, Shima, and Merit Circle, adding to its excitement and potential.
According to the exchange, deposits for NYAN are already available, and trading will begin on May 21, 2024, at 08:00 (UTC). Withdrawals will be available starting on May 22, 2024, at 09:00 (UTC), and the primary trading pair will be NYAN/USDT.
