NetX Network has launched Phase One of its blockchain, beginning a staged rollout aimed at artificial intelligence applications, enterprise services, and digital payments.
The first phase introduces the network’s core infrastructure and NetXScan, its blockchain explorer. The project said the rollout will take place across multiple stages as it develops additional infrastructure and expands its ecosystem.

NetX said its blockchain is designed to support AI agents that can execute tasks, call services, and interact with smart contracts. It also targets enterprise applications and payment services. The native NETX token will be used for transaction fees, smart contract execution, and activity across the network.
NetX targets three markets through one network
NetX is positioning its blockchain across three areas: AI, enterprise software, and payments. The project said businesses will be able to build commercial applications on the network, while payment providers can connect digital assets with real-world transactions through its proposed payment infrastructure.
AI agents are another major focus. According to the project, these agents will be able to automate tasks and interact with decentralised applications through the blockchain.
A staged launch gives developers an opportunity to test the infrastructure before additional features are introduced. However, the early phase does not by itself show whether the network can attract sustained developer and user activity.

Supporting AI, business, and payments presents a technical test
The three markets targeted by NetX have different requirements. AI applications need infrastructure capable of handling automated interactions, while enterprise users may require reliability, security, and integration with existing systems. Payment services add requirements around compliance, settlement, and transaction processing.
This makes adoption more important than the initial launch. Developers need reasons to build on NetX, businesses need practical applications, and payment providers need sufficient reliability and compliance infrastructure before integrating a new blockchain into their operations.
The NETX token will also have a direct role in network activity through transaction fees and smart contract execution. Its utility will therefore depend partly on whether the blockchain develops meaningful usage rather than simply attracting speculative interest.
The project’s phased strategy could allow NetX to address these requirements gradually, but the success of each stage will depend on the products and users that emerge around the network.
In another blockchain development, ENI Blockchain announced the addition of EDDiD Financial to its Super Node Network and Top 100 Institutions Programme, reflecting continued efforts by blockchain projects to attract institutional participants.
Adoption will determine NetX’s next phase
NetX’s immediate challenge is turning its infrastructure into applications with measurable use. Blockchain networks competing for AI, enterprise, and payment activity must offer clear advantages over existing infrastructure.
The next stages of the rollout will provide more information about NetX’s capabilities, developer adoption, and the role of NETX within the ecosystem. For now, Phase One establishes the infrastructure, while actual usage will determine how far the project can develop its three-pronged strategy.
