Upbit will list nine tokens on its BTC and USDT markets on June 19, increasing trading access for Korean users across multiple crypto sectors. The new assets include PEAQ, Litentry, Kamino, Morpho, Gram, Lido DAO, Pax Gold, Osmosis, and Amp.
The exchange said the tokens will receive new trading support in BTC and USDT pairs, rather than Korean won markets and trading will begin in stages from 15:00 local time. This gives traders exposure to global crypto pricing through Bitcoin and Tether pairs.
The listed assets cover a wide range of sectors including Morpho and Kamino linked to DeFi lending and liquidity systems, Lido DAO focusing on liquid staking, Pax Gold tracking physical gold through tokenization, Osmosis tied to the Cosmos ecosystem, while Amp is used for collateral payments and PEAQ is linked to DePIN, and Litentry focuses on identity and data tools.

Exchange adds tokens from different corners of the crypto market
This batch shows Upbit is not limiting listings to one category. Instead, it is expanding across DeFi, staking, infrastructure, and real-world asset tokens in a single move.
Pax Gold stands out because it links crypto directly to physical gold. This connects digital markets with traditional safe-haven assets in a way that is becoming more common across exchanges and institutional platforms.
By grouping different sectors together, Upbit is giving traders exposure to multiple market themes at once, rather than focusing on narrow narratives like meme coins or single-chain ecosystems.
How this reflects changing liquidity patterns
The move to BTC and USDT pairs highlights how liquidity is being shaped around global crypto benchmarks rather than local fiat markets. For Korean traders, this means price action is now more closely tied to Bitcoin and dollar-stable assets.
It also shows how major exchanges are acting as distribution points for global tokens, rather than just regional trading venues. Listings now function less like local events and more like entry points into global liquidity. Early trading behavior after listings will be important. If volume holds after launch, it signals real demand. If not, it suggests short-term speculation still dominates new listings on major exchanges like Upbit.
Similarly, Upbit listed Internet Computer (ICP) with new trading pairs against the Korean won, triggering a sharp rally that pushed the token more than 20% higher within hours of the announcement.
