Trust Wallet Launches bStocks Tokenized US Shares on BNB Chain

Trust Wallet has introduced bStocks, a tokenized stock product built on BNB Smart Chain. The assets represent major US-listed companies such as Tesla, Nvidia, and Circle and are issued as BEP-20 tokens backed 1:1 by real shares held in custodian accounts.

Each bStock mirrors the performance of its underlying stock. This includes price movements, dividends, and stock splits. Users can hold and manage these tokens directly in Trust Wallet without needing a traditional brokerage account.

How do users interact with bStocks in practice?

bStocks can be bought, sold, and held directly inside Trust Wallet. Users simply open the app, go to the market section, select the bStocks list, and choose the asset they want to trade.

Once a transaction is completed, the token balance updates instantly on-chain. Dividends, when issued, are automatically reflected in the user’s holdings without manual claims. Stock splits are also handled automatically through smart contract adjustments.

Users can also move bStocks into DeFi platforms on BNB Chain, where they can be used for lending, trading, or liquidity activities. Supported platforms include Venus, Lista DAO, PancakeSwap, and others.

How are bStocks different from traditional stocks?

Unlike traditional equities, bStocks do not require brokerage accounts, trading hours, or settlement delays. They operate 24/7 and settle almost instantly on-chain. Users can also swap between bStocks and other crypto assets without leaving the ecosystem.

However, bStocks do not provide full legal shareholder rights, such as voting rights. They mainly offer economic exposure, including price movement and dividend payouts.

The product is available to users outside restricted regions, with US users excluded. Trust Wallet says the goal is to remove barriers that make traditional stock investing difficult and bring global equities into a more accessible digital format.

Meanwhile, Trust Wallet officially added support for Sonic’s native token. In an announcement on March 3, the crypto wallet service provider stated that its users can now send, receive, store, and track the token directly within the Trust Wallet mobile app.
