Fan tokens on crypto exchange BitMart have gained momentum in February, with football-themed digital assets outperforming the broader crypto market.
The rise is fueled by key developments in European leagues, including close title races and ongoing Champions League action, driving both retail and institutional interest in these digital assets.

$CITY leads fan token gains
The Manchester City F.C. Fan Token ($CITY) has surged 29% since February 6, climbing from $0.490 to $0.634. The spike follows Manchester City’s consistent league form and their progress to the last sixteen of the Champions League. City has cut the gap to Arsenal to just four points, putting pressure on the league leaders and adding momentum to the token’s growth.
The AC Milan Fan Token ($ACM) rose 18.9%, moving from $0.386 to $0.459, as AC Milan extended its unbeaten domestic run to 23 games. The token reflects market optimism despite the club trailing Inter Milan in the Serie A standings.
The Paris Saint-Germain F.C. Fan Token ($PSG) increased 16.9%, from $0.618 to $0.723, after PSG overcame a midweek Champions League challenge despite slipping in Ligue 1.
Meanwhile, the FC Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR) posted smaller gains of 11.4%, rising from $0.438 to $0.488, as league and cup setbacks weighed on market sentiment.
New fan token listings show mixed moves
Recently added Brazilian tokens have recorded modest growth. The Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras Fan Token ($VERDAO) gained 3.4% in February, trading near $0.033, following the team’s strong start to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.
The CR Vasco da Gama Fan Token ($VASCO) rose 4.8%, trading around $0.03, as traders anticipate a turnaround despite a slow season start.
