Web3 gameplay with BORA token integration
Developed in partnership with Baligames, Puzzle & Guardians blends traditional match-three puzzle mechanics with blockchain-based rewards. Players can collect and upgrade Guardians, battle in PvP duels, and earn BORA tokens through in-game missions and seasonal challenges.
The game introduces BORA DEEPS, a new Web3 infrastructure that connects gameplay missions directly to blockchain rewards. Through this integration, users can complete in-game activities and receive on-chain token payouts automatically, enhancing transparency and user engagement.
Additionally, players can make in-game purchases using BORA tokens, allowing seamless participation in the game’s token economy. The model supports both play-and-earn incentives and real-time payment functionality within the broader BORA ecosystem.
Expanding blockchain utility across games
METABORA GAMES is also rolling out Gas Abstraction technology to improve accessibility for players using BORA tokens on the Kaia chain. The feature allows users to transact without needing separate KAIA tokens, reducing friction and simplifying blockchain interaction.
The company plans to introduce more Mini Dapp titles and additional BORA DEEPS features in the coming months, reinforcing its strategy to create a sustainable Web3 gaming ecosystem.
Puzzle & Guardians was first showcased at WebX 2025 in Japan, where it drew attention for demonstrating how tokenized systems can merge entertainment with crypto functionality, positioning BORA as a cornerstone of blockchain-based gaming innovation.
Meanwhile, GameSquare Holdings has expanded its blockchain strategy by launching an Ethereum (ETH) on-chain yield program via Dialectic’s platform, targeting annualized returns between 8% and 14% another indicator of institutional confidence in the digital asset ecosystem. Under the plan, GameSquare may repurchase shares on the open market, in private transactions, or through Rule 10b5-1 trading plans, provided the stock trades below $1.50 per share.
