Bybit Introduces Equity Trailing Stop for Smarter Risk Management

Bybit has launched Equity Trailing Stop, an automated tool designed to help traders manage risk and lock in profits.

Emphasizing its benefits, Bybit highlights the tool’s automated risk management, which integrates with trading bots and provides 24/7 market monitoring. Traders can adjust take-profit and stop-loss levels to reduce retracement risks and enhance long-term growth. Joan Han, Bybit’s Sales and Marketing Director, emphasizes the feature’s role in promoting automation, discipline, and less emotional decision-making. To use it, traders set an Equity Trailing Stop percentage between 5% and 99%, allowing the system to update exit equity based on the highest balance, thereby protecting capital and maximizing gains.

The new feature for Copy Trading Classic works with Spot Grid, Futures Grid, and Futures Combo bots to adjust exit points in real time based on market conditions. Copy trading protects equity by closing positions at preset thresholds while trading bots adjust exit points to align with traders’ strategies and secure earnings.
