Binance has kicked off the second phase of its “Vote to List” campaign, offering users another opportunity to influence which tokens get added to the exchange.
This round, which began on April 2 and runs until April 9, 2025, at 23:59 UTC, features a lineup of utility-driven altcoins spanning sectors like AI, DePIN, and Real World Assets (RWA).
The featured projects in this voting cycle include Virtual Protocol, Morpho, Grass, Story, Ondo, Big Time, UXLINK, Aethir, Walrus, Safe, ZetaChain, and Plume. Unlike the first round, which primarily focused on meme coins, this phase highlights projects with strong use cases.
To participate, users must have a verified Binance account and hold at least 0.01 BNB in their wallet throughout the voting period. Each eligible user can vote for up to five projects, but only one vote is allowed per project. Votes must be cast under the official Binance Square post to be valid.
Despite the community’s involvement, Binance has clarified that voting alone does not guarantee a listing. The exchange will also evaluate projects based on fundamentals, adoption rate, tokenomics, technical risks, and compliance with its internal standards. The credibility of the development team behind each project will also be scrutinized before any final decision is made.
The announcement has already impacted token prices, with some assets seeing notable gains. Big Time (BIGTIME), a Web3 multiplayer RPG, initially surged 70% before settling at a 30% increase. UXLINK, ZetaChain, and Plume also experienced price jumps of 18%, 9%, and 8%, respectively. Meanwhile, other tokens remained flat or declined as the broader crypto market reacted to U.S. President Donald Trump’s newly introduced “Liberation Day” tariff policies, which triggered a 3% market dip.
Binance’s community-driven approach has expanded in recent months. In March, the exchange introduced a “Vote to Delist” feature, allowing users to weigh in on removing tokens from Binance’s monitoring list. This move coincided with the delisting of five cryptocurrencies: AERGO, AST, BURGER, COMBO, and LINA.
