Binance has announced the spot listing of Aerodrome (AERO), adding the Base-based decentralized exchange token to its trading platform with three new trading pairs.
Trading for AERO/USDT, AERO/USDC, and AERO/TRY will begin on July 17 at 11:00 UTC. Deposits have already opened, while withdrawals are scheduled to start on July 18 at 11:00 UTC. Binance said the listing carries no listing fee and will include a Seed Tag, which identifies newer tokens that may experience higher price volatility.
The exchange has also committed 100,000 USDC for future marketing campaigns tied to the listing.

Binance moves AERO from Alpha to Spot
Before the listing, AERO was available through Binance Alpha, the exchange’s pre-listing platform for early-stage projects.
Once spot trading begins, AERO will no longer appear on Binance Alpha. Users can transfer their holdings from Alpha accounts to Spot accounts 15 minutes before trading starts, while Binance will complete remaining transfers within 24 hours.
Binance also confirmed that Spot Algo Orders will become available immediately after listing, while Trading Bots and Spot Copy Trading support will follow within 24 hours.
Aerodrome operates as the main liquidity and trading hub on Coinbase’s Base network, giving users access to token swaps and liquidity pools across the layer-2 blockchain.
Why Base projects are gaining exchange attention
Aerodrome has become one of the largest decentralized finance applications on Base, a network that has recorded steady growth in on-chain activity over the past year. As trading volume and total value locked have increased on Base, projects tied to the network have drawn more attention from major exchanges.
That pattern has already benefited several Base-native tokens as exchanges compete to list projects with established user activity instead of waiting for new ecosystems to mature. Listing these assets also gives centralized exchanges greater exposure to blockchain networks where decentralized trading is becoming more active.
For Aerodrome, Binance’s listing places the token in front of a much larger global trading audience while strengthening Base’s presence across centralized markets.
Additionally, Binance expanded its tokenized securities offering by listing SK Hynix (SKHYB) on its spot exchange, giving eligible users access to blockchain-based exposure to one of South Korea’s largest semiconductor companies.
