Alchemy Pay has expanded its fiat-to-crypto On-Ramp service in Bangladesh by adding four of the country’s largest mobile financial services. The update allows users to buy cryptocurrencies directly with the Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) through payment platforms already used for daily transactions.
The integration extends Alchemy Pay’s reach in South Asia and gives crypto exchanges, wallets, decentralized applications, and Web3 platforms access to Bangladesh’s well-established mobile payment network.

Four major payment networks join the platform
The new integration brings together the country’s biggest digital payment providers. bKash remains Bangladesh’s largest mobile financial service with more than 50 million registered users. Nagad has become one of the country’s fastest-growing payment platforms, while Rocket offers bank-backed mobile financial services. Upay has also expanded its presence across urban and semi-urban areas.
By connecting these payment channels, Alchemy Pay enables users to purchase digital assets without relying on international payment methods or bank transfers. The company said the addition is aimed at reducing payment friction while making crypto services easier to access through familiar local wallets.
Alchemy Pay said the Bangladesh expansion fits its focus on emerging markets. The company has also built local payment coverage across Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and the Philippines.
Bangladesh is attracting crypto payment firms
Bangladesh has one of South Asia’s strongest mobile money markets, with digital wallets handling millions of everyday transactions for transfers, bill payments, and retail purchases. The existing payment network makes the country attractive to companies building fiat-to-crypto services, as users already trust and regularly use mobile wallets.
Instead of introducing new payment habits, crypto firms are connecting to infrastructure that people already depend on. Similar strategies have been adopted in countries such as Indonesia and the Philippines, where local payment apps have become the main gateway for crypto purchases. The approach lowers barriers to entry while helping platforms reach users who may have limited access to traditional banking services.
Alchemy Pay has recently secured regulatory approvals or registrations in several jurisdictions, including the United States, Canada, Indonesia, South Korea, Lithuania, and Hong Kong. It is also an authorized service provider for Visa and a member of the Mastercard Crypto Partner Program.
