Animoca Brands and its affiliates have invested $1 million in Superior.Trade through the Minds Investment Programme. The funding supports the development of AI-driven trading tools built on Minds, Animoca’s persistent AI agent platform.
Launched in May 2026, the programme allocates up to $10 million to early-stage teams building products using Minds. Superior.Trade is the first project to receive investment under the initiative.
Superior.Trade is building infrastructure for “agentic trading,” where AI agents help users design, test, and run trading strategies. The system is designed to reduce manual monitoring while keeping users in control of their trading rules and risk settings.
We are announcing a US$1 million co-investment in @SuperiorTrade_, a protocol layer for agentic trading teams that is building on Minds by Animoca Brands (“Minds”).

AI agents will automate trading from strategy to execution
Superior.Trade allows users to set trading parameters, after which AI agents handle market research, backtesting, and execution. The agents can scan market data, test strategies using historical trends, and place trades when conditions match predefined rules.
The platform connects to Hyperliquid and uses dedicated trade-only wallets. This setup allows AI agents to execute trades while preventing access to user funds for withdrawals, keeping custody of the funds with the user.
By combining data, strategy tools, and execution in one system, Superior.Trade aims to simplify how automated trading workflows are built and managed.
More user-controlled systems for the agentic economy?
Animoca Brands said the investment reflects its focus on supporting AI systems that operate within clear user-defined limits. The company emphasises that agent-based finance must balance automation with control and transparency.
Superior.Trade said the funding will help it scale its infrastructure and expand access to its platform globally. The goal is to support more traders and developers building AI-native financial workflows.
The Minds Investment Programme will continue funding early-stage projects that build practical applications for AI agents across trading, finance, and digital services, as interest in the agentic economy continues to grow.
Notably, Animoca Brands obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) licence from Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), opening the door for broader operations across the Middle East’s growing digital asset sector.
