Bitget Wallet is a top non-custodial crypto wallet that lets users trade, earn, pay, and explore Web3 on a single platform. Supporting 130+ blockchains, it features advanced swaps, real-time market data, staking, a built-in DApp browser, and easy crypto payments via in-app shops, cards, and QR codes, offering a secure and intuitive Web3 experience.
In Nigeria, users can buy Bitcoin with Apple Pay by linking a bank card to their iOS Wallet and completing KYC on Bitget. Purchases can be made through “Buy Crypto” > “Credit/Debit Card” or via third-party gateways like Alchemy Pay, Banxa, Mercuryo, or Simplex, with payments authorized via Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode and fees around 2.5–3.5%. Users can also add the Bitget Wallet Card to Apple Pay for seamless spending, though some bank cards may have international restrictions.
Frictionless access to stablecoins and major tokens
The integration provides a seamless method for users to purchase leading digital tokens, starting with the two largest stablecoins by market capitalization: Tether (USDt) and USD Coin (USDC). From March 10 to April 30, purchases in US dollars and euros are fee-free, while other fiat currencies receive a 50% discount. Users can also benefit from a 50% discount on major tokens such as Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL), reducing barriers for new entrants to crypto.
A step forward for Web3 adoption
Mercuryo’s integration highlights the growing trend of embedding crypto payments into everyday finance. By combining secure card storage, contactless payments, and on-chain token access, the platform simplifies capital flow for both retail and institutional users.
The zero-fees promotion applies to digital token purchases up to €200 globally, excluding the US and UK. Mercuryo continues to innovate in Web3 payments, aiming to bridge traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem.
Meanwhile, Bitget announced its integration with Morph Chain, becoming the first exchange to do so. The move marks a key milestone in Bitget’s On-Chain ecosystem expansion, enabling users to trade assets within the Morph ecosystem.
