Kraken has announced it will sponsor Trump Accounts for every child born in Wyoming in 2026, providing a financial seed contribution to each newborn’s account to foster long-term capital formation.
Big news for our home state: @KrakenFX is sponsoring @TrumpAccounts for every baby born in Wyoming in 2026.
We picked Wyoming as our global HQ because it leads with thoughtful, responsible crypto policy. We want to keep investing back in the community we call home. Starting…

The initiative comes after the historic launch of the Frontier Stable Token ($FRNT), the first state-issued stablecoin in the United States, which is now live and available for trading on Kraken’s platform.
Through the funding of these accounts, Kraken seeks to capitalize on Wyoming’s crypto-friendly regulatory framework to give the next generation of Americans a leg up in the digital economy.
Wyoming leads with state-issued stablecoin integration
The sponsorship comes at a time when the Frontier Stable Token ($FRNT) has been fully launched into the public domain, according to an announcement by Governor Mark Gordon, who said that FRNT is now live on Kraken. FRNT is the first state-issued stablecoin in the United States and is issued by the Wyoming Stable Token Commission. FRNT is a fiat-backed digital asset that is fully reserved in U.S. dollars and short-term Treasuries, which are managed by Franklin Templeton.
The token is native to the Solana blockchain and allows for cross-chain transactions on other blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum through Stargate Finance.
Kraken’s Co-CEO Arjun Sethi said that the sponsorship of the newborn account is an “investment in Wyoming’s future” and not a handout, given the state’s leadership role in the world of crypto innovation.
The project has been widely supported by U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis, who said that the investment means that Wyoming children will have a financial head start with the modernized financial services.
Driving government efficiency through digital assets
Kraken’s plan for regulated crypto is evident: from the Wyoming stablecoin to the launch of European trading with Deutsche Börse. But it’s not just about retail trading. Wyoming officials plan to use the FRNT stablecoin to make their governmental processes more efficient and cut costs.
Converse County Treasurer Joel Schell pointed out that payments through stablecoins could save his office a lot of money in the form of credit card processing fees, which amount to around $70,000 in 2025.
