KuCoin has relaunched its Spotlight token launchpad with significant enhancements, marking its return to the token sale arena after a year-long hiatus.
The relaunch begins with the platform’s 29th token sale, featuring Bombie (BOMB), a cross-chain GameFi mini-game integrated with the Telegram, LINE, and Kaia ecosystems. The pre-sale is scheduled to open on June 10, 2025, at 10:00 UTC, offering 37.5 million BOMB tokens valued at $300,000.

As part of its revamped Spotlight experience, KuCoin has introduced several user-focused upgrades designed to enhance fairness and participation. Notably, the exchange has scrapped its previous lottery-based allocation in favour of a guaranteed pro-rata model, ensuring every participant receives tokens proportional to their contribution.
Building on this effort to improve accessibility, the platform now allows token subscriptions using either KCS or USDT. KCS holders benefit from a 10% discount. For added flexibility, users can apply staked KCS directly without needing to unstake, thereby enhancing liquidity and ease of use for long-term KuCoin supporters.
According to CEO BC Wong, the platform’s overhaul reflects KuCoin’s renewed commitment to transparency, user empowerment, and leadership in Web3 innovation. He noted that Bombie is only the beginning, with more pioneering projects set to launch through Spotlight in 2025.
Bombie itself is already a standout title—recognized as the top-paying mini-app game on Telegram—and is expanding across major messaging platforms. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the “shoot-to-earn” game offers players a chance to earn rewards through gameplay. Its dual-launch on Telegram and LINE via KuCoin Spotlight marks a first for the ecosystem.
Looking ahead, KuCoin plans to leverage its upgraded Spotlight framework to support a diverse pipeline of projects in the DeFi, GameFi, and blockchain infrastructure sectors throughout the year.
Further reinforcing its push into next-generation blockchain applications, KuCoin has also listed Lagrange (LA), a utility token designed to support secure AI verification through zero-knowledge proofs. The listing marks LA’s world premiere on KuCoin’s Spot trading platform, signalling the exchange’s commitment to supporting innovative projects at the intersection of artificial intelligence and privacy-focused technologies.
