Ripple, the market leader in enterprise blockchain and crypto solutions, has announced the second group of creators who will receive funding from Ripple’s Creator Fund to develop Web 3 non-fungible token (NFT) projects.
The selected Creator Fund projects will bring to life use cases for tokenization in the entertainment and media industries, particularly music, by leveraging XRP Ledger’s instant settlement, low-cost, and built-in royalty structures. This will maximize the value gained from content consumption for creators and their communities.
The following independent creators have been selected to work on developing functional use cases in media and entertainment on the XRP Ledger:
9LEVEL9
A metaverse experience that provides a unique “front row seat” to virtual and live productions, concerts, award shows, and conferences via NFT tickets; this is just one example of the independent creators focusing on building functional use cases in the entertainment and media industries on the XRP Ledger.
Anifie
It is an NFT that helps Japanese artists and content creators make the most of their fan base and community by launching NFTs that allow fans to interact with each other and give NFT holders an immersive digital experience.
Cross-Metaverse Avatars
Create your own one-of-a-kind NFT avatar with a wide range of customization options using the Cross-Metaverse Avatars tool. The token owner can then use their customized avatar in games and other metaverse activities.
Capital Block
European football clubs have partnered with Capital Block to launch an NFT membership in order to provide their fans with access to premium content, in-person game experiences, and Web3 benefits and rewards.
NFT Master
Creators can upload videos to NFT Master and be paid instantly via the XRP Ledger’s payment platform or with their issued NFTs.
Users who hold the NFT will have access to exclusive videos and can vote on how future content will be created, all without having to watch advertisements or pay a subscription fee.
SYFR Projects
It is a production company that specializes in intellectual property and offers artists management, publishing, and production services. More than a hundred groundbreaking recording and video agreements will be converted into NFT contracts that can be signed and managed digitally by the organization.
ThinkingCrypto
This NFT project will provide its holders with access to in-depth interviews with prominent figures in the cryptocurrency industry. With this special privilege comes the chance for NFT holders to have private online meetings with Tony Edward, the host of the popular crypto-focused podcast ThinkingCrypto, where he will share his unfiltered thoughts and predictions for the future of the industry.
According to Markus Infanger, RippleX VP of Growth at Ripple,
“Web3 technology continues to transform the creator economy by giving power back to the creators. We’ve seen real utility in NFTs with the art community, and it is no surprise we are seeing tremendous growth from the entertainment and media industry as a way to cultivate relationships directly with their audiences and offer new content distribution channels. With the support of our strategic partners and the Creator Fund, we look forward to helping fuel innovations built on the XRP Ledger.”
Ripple’s $250 million Creator Fund was launched a year ago to provide creators with the resources they need to experiment with and develop NFTs and other tokenization projects on the XRP Ledger.
