Pudgy Penguins is set to roll out a new incentive for its community ahead of the highly anticipated global launch of its mobile game, Pudgy Party, on August 29. The project has announced the release of an exclusive “Early to the Party” Soulbound Token (SBT), designed to reward players who jump in before the game’s debut.
Early Access Reward for Pre-Download Players
To secure the SBT, players must pre-download Pudgy Party via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, then complete registration on the official pre-download page. Once the game officially launches, the token will be airdropped directly to the wallets of registered participants.

Inside Pudgy Party’s Gameplay
Developed in partnership with Mythical Games, Pudgy Party draws inspiration from party games such as Fall Guys and Stumble Guys. The multiplayer mobile title allows up to 20 participants to battle it out in a series of mini-games and obstacle courses, ranging from races and survival rounds to quirky team competitions. Slippery terrain and comedic hazards are expected to keep the matches unpredictable and entertaining.
Pudgy Penguins also launched a new token, PENGU, on the Solana blockchain in December 2024. The team noted that the launch of PENGU is designed to enhance its value proposition for its fanbase. They noted that they will distribute a total of 88 billion PENGU tokens to NFT holders. Luca Schnetzler, CEO of Pudgy Penguins, announced that the NFT project sold over one million of its physical toys in the past year, 2023.
Expanding the Soulbound Token Thesis
The introduction of the “Early to the Party” token is the latest step in Pudgy Penguins’ embrace of Soulbound Tokens, which are non-tradeable digital badges representing identity, reputation, and achievements.
The project previously experimented with SBTs through the “truePengu” token launched during its first anniversary and a Sotheby’s collaboration in February 2023, where SBTs served as participation and authentication badges.
