Binance has announced the upcoming listing of Hyperlane (HYPER), the 15th project featured on its HODLer Airdrops program.
Hyperlane, a permissionless interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless cross-chain communication, is set to debut on Binance Spot on April 22, 2025, at 13:00 UTC. Trading pairs will include HYPER/USDT, HYPER/USDC, HYPER/BNB, HYPER/FDUSD, and HYPER/TRY.
Ahead of the listing, Binance has confirmed that eligible users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields products between April 14 and April 17 will receive airdropped HYPER tokens. The tokens will be distributed to users’ Spot Wallets at least one hour before the listing goes live.
A total of 20 million HYPER—representing 2.49% of the genesis token supply of 802.7 million—has been allocated for the HODLer Airdrops. At the time of listing, the circulating supply will be approximately 175.2 million tokens or 21.83% of the initial supply. The token’s annual inflation is capped at 8 million, starting at 1% in the first year and decreasing thereafter.
HYPER will temporarily trade on Binance Alpha starting at 11:10 UTC but will be delisted from Alpha once it goes live on Spot. Users can transfer their HYPER tokens between Alpha and Spot accounts, with automatic transfers scheduled for April 25 at 06:00 UTC. To be eligible for HODLer Airdrops, users must invest their BNB holdings in Flexible or Locked Simple Earn products or On-Chain Yields. Binance will take random snapshots of balances to determine rewards, requiring no further action after subscription. Note that BNB used as collateral in Binance Loans is not eligible, but staked Lista BNB (slisBNB) and collateral BNB (clisBNB) in Binance Keyless Wallets are eligible.
Hyperlane will be deployed on both Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum. Smart contract addresses are provided for transparency. No listing fee was charged for this token. In a related update, Binance plans to temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals for Filecoin (FIL) on April 14 at 22:00 UTC.
