In a move set to simplify crypto access for global users, Singapore-based payments provider Alchemy Pay has partnered with Ethena Labs to support direct fiat purchases of the synthetic stablecoin USDe and the native token ENA.
Through this collaboration, users in over 173 countries can now buy USDe and ENA directly using mainstream payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and a wide range of local banking options. The integration has been implemented via the Ethena Swap portal, eliminating the need for centralized exchanges or complex wallet transfers.
With support for over 50 fiat currencies, the partnership aims to lower entry barriers for users looking to engage with Ethena’s ecosystem. By leveraging Alchemy Pay’s on-ramp technology, Ethena joins a growing list of crypto platforms streamlining fiat-to-crypto conversions.
This approach mirrors similar integrations seen across the industry. In May 2023, Lido integrated Alchemy Pay’s fiat solutions to allow direct purchases of stETH. Around the same time, Ethereum Layer 2 project Metis enabled fiat access to its METIS token through a similar partnership.
Most recently, Alchemy Pay joined forces with Hedera and integrated Hedera’s native $HBAR and $USDC into its On-Ramp solution, enabling seamless fiat purchases of these assets via credit cards, bank transfers, and popular local payment methods further expanding its reach within the blockchain space.
Building on that momentum, Alchemy Pay also added support for the Movement Network’s native token, MOVE, in its fiat on-ramp solution. Users gained the ability to purchase MOVE using familiar payment methods such as Visa, MasterCard, mobile wallets, and bank transfers.
According to Alchemy Pay’s announcement, the integration enhanced accessibility and convenience for both individuals and developers, while reinforcing the company’s mission to bridge fiat and crypto through secure and user-friendly services.
The Ethena-Alchemy Pay integration underscores a broader trend toward making crypto more accessible and user-friendly, especially for those entering the space through traditional payment rails.
