KuCoin has launched a new feature that enables merchants to allow customers to pay for purchases directly from their accounts on the crypto exchange.
According to the crypto exchange, this new feature, dubbed “ KuCoin Pay,” bridges the gap between traditional retail and digital currencies and will help create new opportunities for merchants and users in the evolving digital economy. It claimed the feature is designed to reduce transaction fees and ensure quick settlement of crypto payments, making it easier for businesses to manage transactions.
KuCoin claims that its robust infrastructure, with over 37 million global users, powers the platform and offers secure, contactless, and borderless transactions for crypto payments in the retail sector. The service supports 54 cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, ether, USDT, and USDC. Customers can pay merchants that integrate KuCoin Pay into their systems by scanning a QR code or using the KuCoin app. The feature also supports routine purchases like gift card purchases and mobile top-ups.
“KuCoin Pay represents a major milestone in driving the mainstream adoption of crypto and marks a pivotal step in KuCoin’s ongoing commitment to enriching the blockchain ecosystem,”
