Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, a top-flight English football call commonly known as Wolves, has announced a partnership with the LAKE blockchain project, naming it the club’s official cryptocurrency partner.
According to a blog post on its official website, the football club said that this collaboration will enable LAKE to raise awareness about its plan to democratize access to the water economy through blockchain technology.
The club also noted that the partnership aligns with both organizations’ goals to expand community engagement and global presence, with both entities expressing a commitment to making a positive worldwide impact.
As announced, both teams will work on multiple community engagement campaigns and projects in the coming months.
Russel Jones, General Manager for Market and Commercial Growth at Wolves, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, praising LAKE’s passion and commitment. He noted the club’s excitement about starting the 2024-2025 English Premier League season alongside their new partner.
Jean-Hugues Gavarini, CEO and co-founder of LAKE, described the partnership as a crucial step towards achieving their goal of improving access to the water economy and clean water globally.
