Binance has announced a surprise airdrop for all holders of NFTs in CR7 Forever Worldwide. As a result, over 100 free NFTs will distributed to participants to elevate the rarity of existing collections.
The airdropped NFTs will bring significant benefits exclusively available on the Binance NFT platform. Eligible participants must be existing or new Binance users who have completed identity verification (KYC). However, due to regulatory and marketing restrictions, users from specific countries, including Canada, the United States, and others, will not be able to participate.
Notably, Cristiano Ronaldo recently announced the launch of a new NFT series in collaboration with Binance on May 29. The new series, titled “The Road to Saudi Arabia,” will be part of the CR7 Forever Worldwide collection, and its promotion will run from May 24, 2024, at 14:00 UTC, to July 15, 2024, at 23:59 UTC. The sale period for these exclusive NFTs spans from May 29, 2024, at 8:00 AM UTC, to June 18, 2024, at 23:59 UTC.
The new collection features seven unique NFTs, each representing a location significant to Cristiano Ronaldo’s illustrious football career. These locations include Madeira, Lisbon, Manchester, Madrid, Turin, Saudi Arabia, and Portugal.
Holders can access various utilities based on their NFTs’ rarity levels, including a digital poster signed by Ronaldo, a virtual interview with the football star, vintage football shirts, football match tickets, and an exclusive CR7 experience. These utilities are distributed based on the number of distinct locations held and specific snapshot dates, with the final snapshot set for July 15, 2024.
Notably, the collection is the third instalment in Ronaldo’s growing portfolio of NFTs developed and marketed in collaboration with Binance. Previous collections have included highlights such as “CORONATION”, “UNDISPUTED”, and “UNPRECEDENTED” These NFTs are designed to capture key moments from Ronaldo’s career and also integrate unique utilities and experiences for fans.
