Gora Network has announced a strategic merger with the on-chain credit scoring network RociFi. The cross-chain Oracle protocol announced this via a social media post on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
According to the announcement, RociFi will provide Gora Network access to a diverse range of customers who can leverage Gora’s services alongside RociFi’s data. This collaboration allows Gora to achieve its expansion into the Ethereum ecosystem faster because it eliminates the need to build an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) from scratch. Instead, the Oracle protocol will leverage RociFi’s platform.

The merger with RociFi is expected to onboard RociFi’s DeFi community of node runners, enriching Gora’s staking network with a substantial influx of technical expertise and grassroots support. This collaborative effort aims to foster a symbiotic relationship between the two communities while expanding Algorand’s reach.
The Gora team also emphasized the strategic implications of this collaboration. They described it as a gateway to partnerships with traditional financial institutions. They pointed out that RociFi’s experience in this area will accelerate Gora Network’s development process.
Gora is a trustless blockchain oracle solution established on the Algorand network to offer accurate and real-time data like Web 2.0 while sustaining the core features of blockchain technology.
Last August, the Gora Network launched a testnet on the Arbitrium network to enable users to easily access dependable, live data within the Ethereum Layer 2 network. At that time, Gora noted that integrating its Oracle data feeds with the Arbitrium network kickstarts its goal of building towards a future of transparent, interconnected blockchain ecosystems.
