Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s upcoming Layer 2 network, will be supported by Atomic Wallet, a non-custodial, decentralized wallet.

This news has generated great excitement among Shiba Inu users, with many expressing their approval in the tweet’s comments section. The Shibarium project team also acknowledged Atomic Wallet’s support on Twitter.

Over 500 cryptocurrencies can be safely stored in Atomic Wallet, including SHIB and ShibaSwap (BONE), which are part of the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
The cryptocurrency community has shown interest in Atomic Wallet, which has greatly increased the number of users. Over 5 million people, according to Atomic, have downloaded its decentralized wallet.
This week, cryptocurrency hardware wallet Ledger also announced plans to support the upcoming Shiba Inu Layer 2 network.
The announcement was made in response to a question posed by Burnsalot.NFT, a Shibarium supporter, who asked if Ledger would support the upcoming Shibarium protocol.
Ledger confirmed that supporting the L2 network is included in their roadmap, stating on Twitter,
“Hey – yes that is our roadmap. Stay tuned for updates.”
The Shibarium Ethereum L2 network is being developed for the Shiba Inu ecosystem and is expected to offer a variety of benefits, including quick, inexpensive, and private transactions. Supporters of the network believe it will rival Polygon in terms of scalability, operability, and security.
Although a precise launch date for Shibarium is still unknown, the development team has stated that the beta version of the L2 network will be live soon.
