Despite his previous reservations about Bitcoin, former US President Donald Trump has entered the cryptocurrency industry with the release of a new NFT collection. In the spirit of the holiday season, Donald Trump released the NFT collection to thank his supporters.
Trump announced that the collection, created in collaboration with Ethereum scaling solution Polygon, would be available on his Truth Social App as digital trading cards.
According to Trump, “[It] would make a great Christmas gift. Don’t Wait. They will be gone, I believe, very quickly!”

One year ago, former First Lady Melania Trump unveiled her NFT collection using the Solana blockchain. Now, her husband, Donald Trump, has released his own NFT collection on the Polygon blockchain.

Perks Attached to Trump’s NFT Collection
Buyers of the digital trading cards will be entered into a “sweepstakes” to win Trump experiences like a zoom call, a dinner in Miami, or a cocktail hour at Mar-a-Lago. The trading cards will range in rarity from one-of-a-kind to “multiples of 2–10 can be made.” “No more than twenty copies of any given Trump e-trading card will ever exist,” the website claims.
Trump stated in July 2019 that he was “not a fan” of cryptocurrencies, but he appeared enthusiastic when promoting his new collection. “GET YOUR CARDS NOW!” This deal is hard to pass up at only $99 per person! What a wonderful Christmas present! Do it right now. “I think they’ll be gone in no time!” he wrote on his website in a blog post.
On the website where the NFTs were announced, there’s a promotional video of Trump saying, “Each card comes with an automatic chance to win amazing prizes like dinner with me. I don’t know if it’s an amazing prize but it’s what we have.”

An Overview of Trump’s Digital Trading NFT Cards
According to the announcement, the new NFT project includes 45,000 special digital trading NFT cards. The life and times of the former US president will be the inspiration for paintings and sculptures in the new NFT collection.
The new Trump Trading Cards give users a one-time chance to win holiday prizes such as a dinner with Trump in Miami, an autographed piece of memorabilia, a one-on-one Zoom meeting with Trump, and more.
Meanwhile, the Trump Trading NFT Cards are currently available for bidding on the Truth Social app for $99, and crypto users can have the NFT sent to their connected Metamask wallet after making a purchase.
