This aggressive accumulation strategy has delivered impressive results. The company reports a year-to-date BTC yield of 43,787 per cent and a 30-day yield of 189 per cent. These figures serve as internal metrics to evaluate the performance and impact of its cryptocurrency-focused approach. Despite the substantial investment already made, the company still holds approximately £1 million in cash reserves that could be deployed for additional Bitcoin purchases.
Meanwhile, the company, which provides web design and online marketing services, has made Bitcoin a central pillar of its financial strategy. Since 2023, it has been accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment and has embedded the asset into its balance sheet as a long-term store of value. Management maintains that its Bitcoin acquisition plan is designed to benefit shareholders and support broader growth objectives.
Although The Smarter Web Company is not regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), it has made clear its intention to remain transparent about its exposure to Bitcoin. The board acknowledges the risks involved, including price volatility, liquidity issues, and cybersecurity threats, but continues to view Bitcoin as a strategic asset.
Further strengthening its position, The Smarter Web Company announced on June 26 that it had raised £41.2 million ($56.59 million) in fresh capital. The funding was secured from institutional investors via an accelerated bookbuild—a swift capital-raising method that bypasses traditional marketing, enabling rapid execution within 48 hours.
