Solayer, a next-generation blockchain network leveraging hardware acceleration, has officially launched its InfiniSVM Devnet, opening public access to developers building advanced financial applications.
This release fulfils a major goal outlined in Solayer’s January 2025 roadmap, positioning InfiniSVM—a hardware-accelerated Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) blockchain—as the cornerstone of their long-term vision.

The launch represents a critical milestone for InfiniSVM, Solayer’s proprietary execution layer engineered to support over 1 million transactions per second (TPS) with sub-second finality and ultra-low latency, setting a new standard for blockchain performance.
InfiniSVM is fully compatible with the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), built specifically to support real-time, large-scale financial systems. This compatibility allows developers to deploy smart contracts and applications using familiar tools such as Solana CLI, Web3.js, and Anchor, often with little to no code changes. The Devnet is a live sandbox where developers can test, experiment, and build, gaining early access to unique features, including token swaps, via Solayer’s native decentralized exchange (DEX).
Moreover, InfiniSVM has demonstrated sustained throughput exceeding 250,000 TPS in rigorous benchmark tests, with ample room for further scaling as the team optimizes network bottlenecks. Solayer encourages developers to push the limits by launching new programs and simulating real-world scenarios, helping to ensure a robust mainnet launch.
Jason Li, Co-Founder of Solayer, emphasized the significance of this launch, stating,
“The InfiniSVM Devnet opens the door to a new era of blockchain performance tailored to the demands of modern financial applications. We are empowering developers to innovate freely without sacrificing speed or reliability.”
Solayer has introduced weekly office hours on Discord and a dedicated Telegram channel for technical assistance throughout the Devnet phase to support its developer community further.
In a related development, Binance announced the listing of Solayer’s native token, LAYER, with trading that began on February 11, 2025, at 14:00 UTC. LAYER became available for trading against BTC, USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY, accompanied by a seed tag.
