Bitget Wallet, a leading non-custodial crypto wallet, has launched “Shop with Crypto,” a new in-app marketplace aimed at turning digital assets into everyday spending tools.

The marketplace, now live within the wallet’s Discovery tab, allows users to pay directly with cryptocurrency for a broad range of goods and services—no fiat conversion required. According to Bitget, the move is part of its broader PayFi (Payment Finance) initiative, designed to simplify and normalize crypto payments through features like Pay Direct, Scan to Pay, and Tap to Pay.
Users can now make purchases from over 300 global brands using their crypto balance. The platform supports transactions for mobile top-ups, digital gift cards, entertainment services, travel bookings, and more. Major brands such as Amazon, Walmart, Google Play, Steam, Shopee, Tmall, and JD.com are also integrated, further cementing crypto’s role in mainstream commerce.
Bitget emphasized that the marketplace is built to mirror traditional e-commerce experiences but remains fundamentally crypto-native. Payments can be authorized using biometric options like FaceID or fingerprint, and users receive redemption instructions via email after checkout.

The Pay Direct feature enables payments in either crypto or local currencies by scanning QR codes, automatically recognizing national unified payment systems or Solana Pay codes. Scan to Pay supports QR payments at any merchant that uses national codes, while Tap to Pay extends compatibility to any location accepting Mastercard.
One standout component is the gaming section, launched in partnership with Web3 supermarket DotMart. Gamers can now purchase credits for popular titles like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire MAX, and Mobile Legends—at up to 30% lower prices than in-app purchases, Bitget claims.
Commenting on the launch, Bitget Wallet COO Kan said the goal was to create a “simple, seamless, and secure experience” that connects digital assets with everyday life.
Notably, Bitget has expanded its futures trading lineup by introducing TAIUSDT perpetual contracts, now available with up to 25x leverage. The new futures pair went live on April 28, 2025 (UTC+8), further strengthening Bitget’s growing range of advanced trading products.
