Binance has introduced two new features to its margin trading platform to give users greater control over their risk management strategies.
The latest updates, Margin Call Ratio Customization and Margin Call Alert Frequency Adjustment, are designed to enhance user experience while minimizing risks during volatile trading conditions.
With the Margin Call Ratio Customization feature, traders can set their preferred margin call ratio so that users receive instant alerts via email and SMS when the margin level drops to this set point. Complementing this feature is the Margin Call Alert Frequency Adjustment, which allows users to choose how often they receive margin call notifications, ranging from hourly updates to once every 24 hours.
Both features are expected to help reduce notification fatigue while ensuring traders stay ahead of sudden market shifts.
While these tools offer advanced customization, Binance advises users to assess their trading strategies carefully, as margin trading remains inherently risky. It strongly recommended consulting a financial advisor before making significant trading decisions.
These new features come as Binance launched a six-month zero-fee swap promotion for users with keyless addresses on its wallet service. Eligible users can swap tokens without fees using Binance Wallet’s integrated features or quick buy-in Binance Alpha.
Also, in a related development, Binance has expanded its Simple Earn Locked Products by adding Solv Protocol (SOLV), providing users the opportunity to earn up to 18.9% APR during a promotional period from March 18 to September 18. Users can choose between three subscription durations to cater to different investment preferences: 30 days at 4.9% APR, 60 days at 9.9% APR, and 90 days at 18.9% APR.
However, Binance reminds users to thoroughly review the Simple Earn Terms & Conditions and Risk Warning before participating, as digital asset prices can be highly volatile and investments may fluctuate. It stated that the service does not guarantee specific returns and emphasized the importance of making well-informed financial decisions.
