Eddid Financial has launched Bitcoin and Ether trading on its smart trading platform, Eddid ONE, becoming one of the few Hong Kong-based apps to offer cryptocurrency trading alongside stocks, futures, forex, and funds.
The platform allows users to trade cryptocurrencies 24/7 without requiring separate wallets, simplifying access to virtual assets. Available in 31 international markets, Eddid ONE provides seamless global trading opportunities.
The cryptocurrency services are operated by Eddid Securities and Futures (ESFL), a subsidiary of the Group. ESFL recently obtained regulatory approval from Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to expand its license, enabling virtual asset trading for retail investors. This makes ESFL one of the first local brokers to integrate cryptocurrency and securities trading within a single platform.
ESFL also serves as a participating dealer for Hong Kong’s first spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs, offering services such as direct subscription, redemption, and margin financing. These features allow investors to use ETFs as collateral, improving trading efficiency. Additionally, Eddid ONE has launched an NFT membership program. Through this program, users can create a Web3 wallet, claim exclusive Eddid NFTs, and earn points through tasks to redeem rewards. This enhances the integration of Web3 into their financial ecosystem.

In related news, Eddid Financial’s Singapore subsidiary has received in-principle approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for a Capital Markets Services (CMS) license. Once finalized, the license will allow Eddid to offer securities and derivatives trading, product financing, and custodial services. Eddid plans to establish a local presence with offices and a trading app, expanding its reach into Southeast Asia’s growing markets.
