DWF Labs, a leading venture capital firm focused on cryptocurrency investments, will be moving its headquarters from Singapore to Abu Dhabi.
Andrei Grachev, co-founder of DWF Labs, announced the decision via an X post on December 2. He cited the firm’s goal of expanding its operations in real-world assets (RWA) and financial services within the region as a key motivator.
“In order to build a strong presence in the Middle East and run more RWA and financial services there, @DWFLabs is moving the headquarter to Abu Dhabi,”

This decision was made in response to the company’s goal of strengthening its presence in the Middle East. This region is quickly becoming a global hub for cryptocurrency and financial markets. Although the timeline for the relocation has not yet been revealed, Grachev suggested that updates will be provided as plans progress. The new office in Abu Dhabi will complement DWF Labs’ existing branch in Dubai, demonstrating the firm’s increasing focus on the region.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has cemented its reputation as a global crypto hub, attracting major players like BlackRock and QCP Capital. DWF Labs is no stranger to regional partnerships; in September, it collaborated with GraFun, a BNB Chain-based meme coin launchpad, to enhance token liquidity and promote stable trading practices.
Earlier this year, the firm revealed the creation of the Cloudbreak Fund, a $20 million initiative to foster innovation in Chinese-speaking regions. According to a press release, the fund will target projects in advanced sectors such as GameFi, SocialFi, Memecoins, Derivatives, Layer 1/Layer two infrastructure, and artificial intelligence (AI). Andrei Grachev highlighted the firm’s strong ties to Chinese-speaking regions in 2018. Grachev praised certain areas’ entrepreneurial culture and resilience, highlighting their substantial growth. The Cloudbreak Fund supports emerging projects to help them reach their potential.
